Hmm... Personally, I don't see any good sides to the European Union. Can I have one of the Liberal Democrat supporters who so freely roam these pages come onto here and let me know why Europe is a good thing, or one of the rare Conservatives (like myself) continue my post on why Europe is a bad thing. Let me start it off. The Liberal Democrats say that Europe is a good thing because good links remove the risks of human trafficking. But personally, I think this is stupid, because part of the European Constitution is the Schengen Agreement, which means that people can freely travel between European countries without a passport, and that the only reason passports are necessary at airports are to say who's on the plane.

So really, removing the European Union, and thus the Schengen Agreement would make it a lot harder to cross the borders, subsequently substantially decreasing the numbers of people being trafficked.
